When and where are auditions?
Auditions take place in the Fall just before the start of rehearsals. Sometimes we also have mid-season auditions in January. Please follow our Facebook page to see when auditions are posted.
How are auditions conducted?
Our relaxed auditions are performed in front of the director and a board member, in a nonthreatening environment. Singers will be led through a series of warm-up exercises and then asked to sing a hymn of the director’s choosing. Although not all auditioning singers will be invited to join, our auditions are a gentle, excellent first audition experience. We welcome all voice parts.
What does membership cost?
Membership dues are nominal and determined before each season.
What is the time commitment?
We meet September-May, Tuesday evenings at 7pm-9pm, plus dress rehearsals and performances
Where are rehearsals held?
Rehearsals are held at the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren located at 15 South Mulberry St, Hagerstown, MD 21740
How much are tickets?
Free! We do collect a free will offering at our performances. We also appreciate donations any time!
